Burmese ruby or Old Burma ruby is the most glorious and fascinating variety of Ruby gemstone. It is incredibly popular for its deep blood red color, relatively superior clarity and astrological value. The most desired rubies of all come primarily from Burma, now known as Myanmar, and are called Burmese Rubies.
